Katana with filmmaker, Keith Famie, filming The Embrace of Aging at the home of Giuliano Zuccato (in tuxedo)

Last week, I had the pleasure of interviewing 11-time documentary film maker, Keith Famie, about several of his most recent films:

  • The Embrace of Aging for Men
  • The Embrace of Aging for Women
  • Death is NOT the Answer
  • The Embrace of Dying
  • Maire’s Journey

I don’t want to give anything away, but the interview was amazing. I even told Keith that I’ve never had goosebumps so many times during an interview.  We also did something new; we played the clips for several of his movies.

I’m so excited to introduce you to Keith’s films because they are very special. In fact, he also creates It’s My Life documentary films for individuals who want to share their story in film.

One of the services I offer is helping individuals pass on their stories to their heirs and their community.  When we want to include film, Keith receives a call from me.

In last week’s show, I asked Keith how he met Maire, and then he shared the touching story about how he documented her dying-wish.  I hope you listen to the show. I’d love to hear back from you, so drop me a line!
